Chlortetracycline is broad-spectrum antibiotic active against both gram-positive and gram-negative organism. The effect of the tetracyclines is principally bacteriostatic, the group spectrum of activity also includes some anaerobic bacter, Rickettsie, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, Spirochaetes(e.g.treponema and Borrelia) and also some Protozoa. |
Indication |
Control and treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by E.coli and bacterial pneumonia (shipping fever) associated with pasteurella spp, APP, Pleuropneumoniae (Heomophilus app) and klebsiella spp. Control of CRD and air-sac infections caused by M.gallisepticum and E.coli. |
Dosage |
For oral administration in drinking water or add in feed. |
